Editorial Independence
Editorial Independence and Non-Interference
At At-Tatbiq : Jurnal Ahwal al-Syakhshiyyah, we uphold editorial independence as a foundational principle. While the journal is owned by the Islamic Family Law (Ahwal al-Syakhshiyyah) Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, Institut KH. Ahmad Sanusi Sukabumi, the owner strictly refrains from influencing editorial outcomes.
In alignment with the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) standards for editorial freedom, the Editor-in-Chief maintains absolute authority over the journal’s content and publication schedules. The Institution’s administrative staff are entirely excluded from the manuscript acceptance process. Our editorial team reaches conclusions based solely on:
- The expertise and suitability of the selected peer reviewers.
- The thoroughness of the author’s responses to reviewer feedback.
- The rigor and scientific quality of the research.
Our editorial team is dedicated to the mission of making scientific findings open and accessible to the global community as efficiently as possible.
Integrity in Internal Submissions (Editors as Authors)
To preserve the impartiality of our peer-review process, editors and editorial staff are strictly prohibited from managing their own scholarly submissions. When a member of our editorial team submits a manuscript:
- The work is delegated to at least two independent external reviewers.
- The final decision is adjudicated by other Editorial Board members who possess no conflict of interest regarding the author.
